The winter graduates of Houston Can Academy, a nonprofit dropout prevention and recovery high school serving mostly at-risk students, are eligible for three scholarships for associate degrees to HCC as well as learning they are eligible for grants from the Accelerate TEXAS (ATX) program.

HCC Adult Education partners awarded $164K for community-based job training

The City of Houston recently gave out notification that a partnership consisting of the HCC Adult Education Program, the Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC), and United Way THRIVE will receive $164,262 to deliver community based job training at the locations of a number of nonprofit organizations.
