HCC Northeast automotive industry job fair set for March 25

The HCC Northeast Career Services office is hosting an automotive industry job fair for students, alumni and the community from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on March 25 at the Automotive Technology Training Center (ATTC), 4638 Airline Drive, Houston, TX 77022.

HCC students training in auto body repair, automotive technology, and heavy vehicle maintenance and repair will have an opportunity to meet with employers from various companies in the transportation industry. The job fair is also open to experienced technicians as well as persons seeking to learn more about training at the ATTC and the new Automotive Center of Excellence at the North Forest Campus.

The annual job fair attracts employers that range from collision repair shops and dealerships to companies that service heavy equipment. Automotive program faculty experts will also be available to answer questions about training and employment trends. Interested candidates seeking a career in the automotive and transportation field are encouraged to dress professionally, bring a resume to share with representatives, and to be prepared to interview for positions in customer service, repair, sales, inspections, and light maintenance.
