HCC Central Student Life spearheads Walk 2 Vote event on Super Tuesday

More than 80 students and civic leaders walked from Central’s Learning Hub Science Building to Trinity Episcopal Church in Midtown to vote in the March 3 primary.

The event – called Walk 2 Vote – was designed to encourage college students to participate in the election process. Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, HCC District Trustee Eva Loredo and City council member Dr. Carolyn Evans-Shabazz were part of the walk.

Sponsors were HCC Central Student Life, HCC Central Rec Sports, Move Texas and the Student Government Association at Central.
