Sophia Learning Pathways for ACE Credit

Houston Community College's partnership with Sophia Learning will conclude on May 14, 2025. After that date, HCC will no longer accept credits from Sophia Learning. Additional information and updates can be found on HCC's official landing page, with Sophia Learning.

Students who complete Sophia courses and seek Houston Community College transfer credit for such courses must (I) be enrolled at Houston Community College as students in good standing and (II) meet course and program requirements. HCC will then award transfer credit under these conditions.

Sophia Learning credits are only accepted by these universities:

• Bellevue University
• Franklin University
• Southern New Hampshire University
• University of Maryland Global Campus
• University of Phoenix
• Western Governors University
