Student Services Goes Virtual – How to Access these Services

All HCC locations are currently closed and all classes have resumed online. We are committed to supporting our students in this new environment. Below are three ways you can access Student Services online, and updates from departments are included below.

Admissions & Enrollment

For information on admissions, enrollment, testing and transcripts for Summer and Fall, please visit: www.hccs.edu/applying-and-paying.

  • Monday, April 6 is an open date for Summer registration.
  • Monday, May 4 is the open date for Fall registration.

 

Academic Advising

Advisors will be providing services remotely by using several options. Please visit, www.hccs.edu/advising for details.

Career Services

Connect with us through the MyEagle portal, click on Career Hub to make an appointment. Services available include resume writing, career assessment, and job postings with local companies.

International Student Programs

We know that students may be concerned about their status if taking online classes. The U.S. Student & Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) regulations confirmed that F-1 students can temporarily engage in distance-learning, either from within the U.S. or outside the country, in light of COVID-19. Your status will not be impacted as long as you remain enrolled full-time (or are authorized for a reduced course load). Recreational Sports

Veteran & Military Affiliated Student Services

VA students housing allowance and stipends will not be effected during the COVID crisis and any future national emergencies.
