HCC's Pearl W. Pigott recognized as AWA Woman of Excellence

The Houston Community College Association of Women in Academia (AWA) selected Pearl W. Pigott, Program Director/Instruction - Adult Education Program, as their honoree for the 2015 Women of Excellence Gala - Embrace the Past, Transform our Future - sponsored by the Federation of Houston Professional Women on September 12 at the Norris Conference Center.

Pearl will join an array of illustrious women from dynamic women organizations across the Greater Houston metropolitan area who will be recognized for their personal, professional and community achievements.

She has worked for HCC for 33 years and has been an active member of AWA since 1991. Currently, Pearl is a member of the Executive Board and is serving her second term as Vice President for Finance.
