Why did you choose HCC Coleman College?
I wanted a reputable program to start my journey into healthcare.

Why did you choose your program of study?
I wasn't sure exactly what part of healthcare I wanted to pursue, so I started with the HCC Medical Assistant program.

What did you like best about your college experience?
HCC Coleman College gave me the opportunity to connect with excellent healthcare organizations, such as Baylor College of Medicine. Two professors who I will be eternally grateful for are Professor Lundgren and Professor Williams.

What did you like best about your program of study?
Medical Assistant introduced me to the healthcare field, and I loved being able to learn and train in an environment that mimicked reality.

When you were tired, what motivated you to push forward?
The excitement of my field of study and the enthusiasm the professors instilled in our classes always kept me motivated.

What advice can you offer to help other students succeed?
Never let fear hinder you from reaching your goals. If you want something, push, try, and ask for help if you need it. Put forth the effort, and success will follow.

How did your education change or improve your life?
My education at HCC Coleman college opened every door I have walked through, and it allowed me to further pursue health education, nursing, and nursing leadership.
