HCC students put communication skills to the test at 5th Annual Speech Tournament

On Saturday, November 2, HCC students competed at the Southeast College in the 5th Annual Speech Tournament hosted by the Division of English and Communication.

The tournament is designed to give students an opportunity to apply their writing and communication skills in a competitive environment. Students presented speeches on their interpretation of fear. The HCC Foundation provided scholarships to students ranking in first, second, and third place.
