The girls heard from speakers, including Dr. Melissa Gonzalez, interim president at Southeast College.
The guests talked about their backgrounds and how STEM fields made a difference in fulfilling their dreams. The event was sponsored by the Houston Community College Office of Entrepreneurial Initiatives.
