The day's report takes a look at the recent College Readiness Summit held at the HCC West Loop Campus.

The event brought together administrators and instructors from area high schools and community colleges to discuss the College Preparatory Courses in English Language Arts and Mathematics. Attendees were afforded the opportunity to hear from instructors and administrators who have offered the course over the last two years, reviewed curriculum alignment and academic pathways, and explored strategies—for ISDs and college partners—in launching and cultivating the College Preparatory Courses.
