HCC to hold open house for Regency Beauty Institute students

The Houston Community College (HCC) Cosmetology program is ready to assist  Regency Beauty Institute students who are looking for a new start after their school abruptly closed.

On Monday, October 10, representatives from the Student Services and Financial Aid departments will hold an open house at the HCC Eastside Campus.

“Only hours after the announcement of the closure students started calling us to find out about our programs, credits, and options for financial aid,” said Hilda Sustaita, HCC Cosmetology program chair. “Most of these students are on financial aid or have student loans, so we will work with them to make sure they do not fall through the cracks.”

The HCC Cosmetology program has scheduled a special second start for these students, which will begin October 17.
