HCC hosts International New Student Orientation event for Fall semester

The Houston Community College Office of International Student Services & Study Abroad recently welcomed students from all around the globe to Houston and HCC with an International Student Orientation event for the Fall semester.

Students received information on the following topics: maintaining F-1 Visa status, obtaining a driver’s license, employment, cultural adjustment, safety and security, immigration laws, health insurance coverage, tax information, Social Security and academic requirements.
