HCC Cosmetology Department to provide free haircuts and manicures to Houston-area veterans on Sept. 21

Officials at the Houston Community College Consumer Arts and Sciences Center of Excellence know that, to feel good you need to look good. Based on that premise, HCC Cosmetology professors and senior students will offer complimentary haircuts and manicures on Sept. 21 to the brave men and women who have risked their lives to protect our freedom.
“We value our veterans. Providing these services is our way to say ‘thank you’ for their sacrifice. We want to do our part in making them feel and look their best,” said Hilda Sustaita, Chair of the HCC Cosmetology Department.
The complimentary services will be offered to any interested veteran from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sept. 21 at four HCC campuses:
- Eastside Campus, 6815 Rustic Street, Houston Texas 77087
- Northline Campus, 8001 Fulton, Houston, Texas 77022
- Katy Campus, 1550 Foxlake, Houston Texas 77084
- Central Campus, 1300 Holman, Houston Texas 77004
