HCC celebrates Fourth of July in Stafford
Jul 6, 2016
Houston Community College (HCC) participated in the City of Stafford’s 41st Annual Independence Day Celebration.
Hundreds of excited spectators lined the street to watch the parade as representatives from HCC, along with other businesses and community organizations, walked along the route handing out various giveaways. Marching bands provided patriotic music fit for the occasion. HCC is a longtime supporter of this parade and uses the event as a way to say “thank you” to those who fought and continue to fight for our country’s freedom.
The HCC veteran community is made up of more than 3,100 students and the HCC Office of Veterans Affairs provides veterans, reservists, and their families with a coordinated system to insure a meaningful transition from military to civilian life.
