The Association of Women in Academia (AWA) hopes that this year’s Scholarship Event, like a fragrance, lingers with you for years to come. We extend our heartfelt appreciation for the tremendous show of support at the 15th Annual Scholarship Fashion Show and Silent Auction.

We hope that you enjoyed the jazzy sophistication of Jordan ”Chili Sauce” Donald and Crew as they enchanted us with musical ambience which delicately aroused our senses and soothed our souls. We witnessed the elegance and effortless moves of the Houston High Steppers Dance Troupe as they exhibited flawless and enviable dance rhythms. The flair of our Dynamic Duo Commentators, Suzette Brimmer and Jose’ “Freddy” Saucedo, ushered into the show with JoS A. Bank and The Men’s Wearhouse fashions modeled by the Scent’Sational HCC 2015 Men of Distinction Models. They "rocked" the runway to the delight of a sold out audience. All proceeds from this very successful fundraiser and silent auction will help many deserving students to fulfill their personal, educational and career goals.

We thank you all and we truly appreciate your generosity and spirit of giving to this very special and worthwhile event.
