Play Rev. Al Sharpton Trivia Contest; win tickets to HCC Black History Scholarship Gala

Fans of political and civil-rights activist Rev. Al Sharpton are invited to play “The Rev. Al Sharpton Trivia Contest” for the next 10 days for a chance to win tickets for two to Houston Community College’s Black History Scholarship Gala, which features Rev. Al Sharpton as the keynote speaker.

The scholarship gala takes place 6 p.m., Friday, February 21, 2014, at the Hilton Americas – Houston hotel, 1600 Lamar, Houston, TX 77010.

Rev. Al Sharpton is one of the best-known and outspoken political activists today. He is the founder of the National Action Network, which champions for the rights of underserved people and communities. He is an author and talk show host of a nationally syndicated radio show - Keepin’ It Real with Al Sharpton - and host of the nightly cable television show – PoliticsNation - on MSNBC.

For a chance to win two tickets to the gala, go to www.hccs.edu/blackhistory and look for “The Rev. Al Sharpton Trivia Contest.” Each day – from Feb. 4 through Feb. 14 – contestants will be asked to answer a Rev. Sharpton trivia question.

On Friday, February 14, the contestant with the highest number of correct answers will be awarded two free tickets to the Black History Scholarship Gala featuring Rev. Sharpton. In the event of a tie among contestants, one player’s name will be selected at random.

The winner will be notified Friday evening, February 14 via email and/or text message.
