Chancellor Cesar Maldonado welcomes TEDxHouston and TEDGlobal to HCC SE

Chancellor Cesar Maldonado recently welcomed TEDxHouston along with TEDGlobal to Southeast College.

The event was held on Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Eastside Campus Learning Hub where approximately 150 students attended the live simulcast.  The event also included real time lectures and presentations from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The topic presentations were broadcast in more than 100 languages and included a wide range of ideas that foster learning, inspiration and wonder – from urban planning and modern dance to human rights and anti-corruption efforts.
